es ist 199X. Kid Ikarus, damals noch “Bernd”, sitzt am Amiga 500 seines bruders AJ Chrazy und spielt “Eye of the Beholder II” ... oder ähnlich glorreiche spiele. den ganz tach. glorreich waren die unter anderem auch wegen ihrer soundtracks. das kribbeln der finger auf joystick und maus über-tragen auf die tasten eines alten yamaha PSS 370 fm-synthese keyboards malt “the mirroring forrest” (ja, mit fünf r!) das bild verwunschenen unterholzes in VGA-grafik.

01. theme song

Jump & Run haben ihren namen nicht irgendwoher. richtig, sie springen vor freude und rennen vor angst (vor der dummheit). doch eine tiefe verbundenheit zu den freundlichen und auch weniger freundlichen figuren aus flimmer- und daddelkisten ist nicht zu leugnen. mit ihrem “theme song” huldigen Nepumuk und J. Lauxen steuerkreuz- und joystickhelden, sowie (sehr zurecht) den eigenen superkräften, die sie am mikrophon feilbieten. exklusiver track. rapgamerherzen schlagen höher.

"weg gegen ziel" consists of two parts, both recorded on the 2nd of july 2009. on the right you hear a live improvisation by Elyk Wot for the opening of an exhibition by Anton Schwarzbach at Galerie im Turm, Berlin. on the left you hear Elyk Wot taking their equipment back home on a wheeled transportation device. both recordings have been shortened from about 20 minutes to one and a half minutes by pitch shifting.
